Size Guide

To find the best fit, measure around the base of your dog's neck where the collar normally sits. The collar should feel secure but comfortable, with enough room to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck.

How to Measure

Use a soft measuring tape.
Measure around the base of your dog’s neck.
Leave enough room to fit two fingers comfortably.
Choose the size where your dog’s neck measurement sits within the fit range.

Between sizes?
If your dog is between two sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Leather Care

With simple, regular care, your leather dog collar will remain comfortable, develop character and look better with age.

Everyday Cleaning

Wipe away dust, mud or surface dirt using a soft, dry cloth.

For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe gently. Allow the collar to air dry naturally before using it again.

Everyday Moisture and Rain

Our leather collars are suitable for everyday use, including walks in light rain and normal UK weather conditions.

If the collar becomes wet, simply wipe away excess moisture with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature.

To help preserve the leather and hardware over time, avoid fully soaking the collar or using it while swimming or bathing.

Avoid Direct Heat and Harsh Chemicals

Do not place the collar on a radiator, near a heater or under any direct heat source, as this may cause the leather to dry out or change shape.

Do not wash the collar in a washing machine or tumble dryer.

Avoid bleach, alcohol, household cleaning products and other harsh chemicals.

Leather Conditioning

For smooth leather collars, a small amount of suitable leather conditioner may be applied occasionally to help maintain softness and appearance.

Always test the conditioner on a small, hidden area first and follow the product instructions.

Avoid over-conditioning, as using too much product may darken or soften the leather more than intended.

Suede Lining Care

If your collar has a suede lining, allow it to dry fully before cleaning.

Use a soft suede brush to gently remove dust and help restore the natural texture.

Do not apply standard leather conditioner directly to the suede lining.

Hardware Care

Wipe the buckle, D-rings and other metal fittings with a soft, dry cloth.

After exposure to moisture, dry the hardware thoroughly to help maintain its appearance.

Avoid prolonged contact with salt water, cleaning chemicals and other corrosive substances.

Regular Safety Checks

Regularly inspect the leather, stitching, buckle and D-rings for signs of damage, looseness or excessive wear.

The collar should be replaced if any part becomes damaged or no longer feels secure.

Natural Leather Character

Leather is a natural material, so small variations in grain, texture and colour may occur.

Over time, the leather may soften and develop a natural patina. These changes are part of the unique character of genuine leather and do not affect the collar’s intended everyday use.

A vivid statement colour built on traditional leather craftsmanship.

The Bright Green Pebbled Leather Dog Collar is handcrafted from genuine cowhide leather with a tactile pebbled grain that gives the colour depth while preserving the natural character of the material.

Each collar is hand-cut, shaped and stitched in Vietnam, with tonal green stitching, dark finished edges and polished gold-tone hardware creating a clean contrast against the bright green leather.

Different lining leather is used according to size. Size M features a softer deep-red pebbled cowhide lining, while Sizes L and XL use a denser, firmer cowhide selected from the stronger back section of the hide for additional structure and durability.

Every collar is inspected before the ZIPP COLLECTIVE — HANDCRAFTED IN VIETNAM signature is embossed inside.

SIZE-SPECIFIC CONSTRUCTION

M — Soft Red Pebbled Cowhide

Size M uses a soft deep-red pebbled cowhide lining for a more supple inner surface while retaining the structure of the collar.

L & XL — Dense Belt-Grade Cowhide

Sizes L and XL use a firmer and denser cowhide lining selected from the stronger back section of the hide.

The added structure complements the wider 2.5 cm collar and is chosen for increased support and long-term durability.

Total leather length is measured from the base of the buckle to the end of the leather strap, excluding the buckle.

Every collar has 7 adjustment holes positioned approximately 1 cm apart.

Measure around your dog's neck where the collar normally sits and select the size whose adjustment range contains that measurement.

NATURAL LEATHER

Genuine cowhide naturally carries small variations in grain, texture and tone.

The pebbled surface may differ subtly from collar to collar. These variations are part of the natural leather character and make each piece slightly individual.

Over time, the leather will develop additional character through regular wear.
